Dirgha Research Group

Dr. Dirgha Raj Joshi holds a Ph.D. in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry from Yonsei University, South Korea, and completed postdoctoral research at NIH, USA. He has developed four novel synthetic methodologies and secured three patents. His research focuses on antiviral drug discovery and heterocyclic chemistry, with over 30 publications.

Nisha Adhikari is a skilled Pharmacology researcher with a Master’s degree from Gachon University, South Korea. She has expertise in cell biology, microbiology, gene cloning, and drug discovery, with over three years of research experience. She teaches pharmacology and molecular biology at KAHS.

Mr. Roshan Gyawali holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Pokhara University, Nepal, and a Master's in Pharmaceutical Sciences from RGUHS, India. He has worked in QC, Production, and FR&D departments of leading Nepali pharmaceutical companies, and is passionate about advanced drug delivery systems and public health awareness.

Sangam K.C. is an enthusiastic B.Pharm student at KAHS, fascinated by the intersection of science, innovation, and human well-being. He dreams of developing nano-chips for targeted drug delivery.

Nandini Gupta is a B.Pharm student at KAHS with a strong interest in pharmacology, particularly pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics. She aims to bridge scientific knowledge and practical needs.

Arjun is a Software Engineering graduate and full-stack developer with expertise in building scalable web systems. He is passionate about AI, cryptography, and agentic systems.He will be serving as an IT support team member for Dirgha Research Group. He is currently working to develop learning platfrom about promoting ration use of medicine.

Bishesh Bista is a 4th-semester B.Pharm student at KAHS, passionate about medicinal plants and innovative pharmaceutical formulations. His research interests include phytochemistry, ethnopharmacology, and the modernization of traditional medicine.

Saroj Parajuli is a B.Pharm student at KAHS with a deep interest in research, particularly in drug discovery and novel delivery systems. He aims to contribute to advancements in healthcare.

Apekshya Sigdel is a B.Pharm student at KAHS with academic and research interests centered on pharmacology, especially drug–drug interactions (DDIs). Her research aims to enhance medication safety.
